What it pays for
- Hosting: serving every race, candidate and measure page to voters in all 50 states.
- Election data: collecting and checking candidate lists and ballot questions from thousands of county and state election offices.
- AI scoring: placing candidates and measures from their public record when no academic score exists (how that works).
Our rules for donations
- Donations never change what the site shows. Every placement comes from the same published method for every candidate.
- We don't accept money from campaigns, candidates, parties or PACs. If one slips through, we refund it.
- Not tax-deductible. SpectrumVote isn't a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations can't be deducted.
