City of Oakridge Measure 20-387 — Five-Year Ambulance Service Operations Local Option Tax (Lane County)

Ballot measure · November 3, 2026 · Oakridge voters

What it does
Shall Oakridge replace the $17/month ambulance service fee by imposing $1.64 per $1,000 of assessed value for 5-years beginning 7/1/2027? This measure may cause property taxes to increase more than three percent.
A YES vote means
Oakridge would replace its $17-per-month ambulance service fee with a property tax of $1.64 per $1,000 of assessed value for 5 years starting July 1, 2027.
A NO vote means
Oakridge would keep its $17-per-month ambulance service fee and would not impose this tax.
What it would cost
1.64 mills for 5 years: $164 a year for every $100,000 of taxable value (a mill is $1 per $1,000). Taxable value is after exemptions such as homestead; your tax bill or property appraiser shows yours.
Needed to pass
