Background
Chicago alderperson, 11th Ward
Has served as 11th Ward alderperson since 2022; the first Asian American woman and first Chinese American to serve on the City Council. Previously an executive at United Airlines, with a career in social and community engagement. A Chicago Public Schools graduate and lifelong resident of Chinatown and Bridgeport.
