Background
Chicago alderperson, 36th Ward
Elected 36th Ward alderperson in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. Served four years in the military, including in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Worked for the Illinois Capital Development Board and the Illinois Department of Transportation and later lobbied for the Hispanic American Construction Industry Association.
