Background

University of Colorado System (higher-education policy)

Grew up in the Denver area and graduated from Cherry Creek High School. Earned an undergraduate degree and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Denver as a Boettcher Scholar, and a Certificate in Education Finance from Georgetown University. Worked at the Brookings Institution on fiscal and budgetary research and at the Education Commission of the States before joining the University of Colorado System.
