Background

Houston City Controller; attorney

Houston City Controller since January 2024. Previously served as Harris County Clerk, leading the county's 2020 elections, and was principal attorney at Hollins Law Group PLLC; spent much of his career as a management consultant to government agencies. Holds a bachelor's degree from Morehouse College and a J.D./M.B.A. from Yale Law School and Harvard Business School.
