Elected mayor of Jacksonville Beach in November 2020 as the city's first woman mayor, after two terms on the Jacksonville Beach City Council; re-elected in 2024. Graduated from Fletcher High School and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of North Florida. Is a Leadership Jacksonville graduate and has served as vice president of the board of Baptist Medical Center-Beaches.
