On the ballot
- County, municipal and school board offices
- Judges, including any statewide appellate seats and retention votes (the Department of State certifies them in 2027)
How it works
- The municipal primary is the third Tuesday in May of odd years; candidates for every office on the November ballot are nominated then.
- Pennsylvania's primaries are closed: only voters registered with a party vote in its primary.
Candidates
We'll list candidates here once they file with the county board of elections (or the Department of State for statewide offices), with each one's record, funding and, where research allows, their place on the left–right spectrum. Filing opens February 16, 2027 and closes March 9, 2027.
