Texas constitutional amendments, November 2027
Election Day is November 2, 2027 (expected; the election office hasn't published it yet). Any amendments the 2027 Legislature proposes.
Key dates
| Election Day | November 2, 2027 (expected) |
|---|---|
| Voter registration deadline | October 4, 2027 |
How it works
- None proposed yet: the 90th Legislature meets from January 12 to May 31, 2027.
- An amendment needs a two-thirds vote in both the House and Senate, then a majority of voters. The Legislature sets the election date; November 2, 2027 is the usual one.
- We'll add each proposition, with plain-language YES and NO lines, once it passes.
Candidates
We'll list candidates here once they file with the Legislature, with each one's record, funding and, where research allows, their place on the left–right spectrum.
