Quick answers
- Who are my local elected officials in Arkansas?
- Enter your address at spectrumvote.com to see your county commissioners, county officers, school board and city council, with your own district's members marked. Or pick your county below: 529 elected bodies and 856 seats across 75 counties.
- What local offices are elected in Arkansas?
- Each county elects a county judge, who runs the county and presides over the quorum court, and 9 to 15 justices of the peace, one from each district, who make up the quorum court; plus a sheriff, county clerk, circuit clerk, assessor, collector, treasurer, coroner and surveyor (some counties combine the clerks, or the collector with the sheriff or treasurer). County races are partisan; justices of the peace serve two-year terms and the other county officers four. Cities elect a mayor and council, and school districts elect their boards.
