- Enter your address at spectrumvote.com to see your county commissioners, county officers, school board and city council, with your own district's members marked. Or pick your county below: 395 elected bodies and 773 seats across 56 counties.
- What local offices are elected in Michigan?
- Each county elects a board of commissioners by district, a prosecuting attorney, sheriff, clerk, treasurer, register of deeds (combined with the clerk in some counties), drain or water resources commissioner and surveyor, all for four-year terms on the partisan November ballot of presidential years; Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Bay counties also elect a county executive, and a few counties still elect road commissioners for six-year terms. Townships elect a supervisor, clerk, treasurer and trustees, cities and villages elect their councils, and school boards are elected on a nonpartisan ballot.
