Quick answers
- Who are my local elected officials in Utah?
- Enter your address at spectrumvote.com to see your county commissioners, county officers, school board and city council, with your own district's members marked. Or pick your county below: 209 elected bodies and 404 seats across 29 counties.
- What local offices are elected in Utah?
- Most Utah counties elect a three-member county commission; a few (Salt Lake, Cache, Summit, Tooele, Wasatch and others) elect a county council, with an elected mayor in Salt Lake County and an executive in Cache. Each county also elects a county attorney (in Salt Lake, a district attorney), clerk and auditor (often one office), recorder, treasurer, assessor, surveyor (some combined) and sheriff, for four-year staggered terms. County races are partisan. Each school district elects its board by district on a nonpartisan ballot, and cities and towns elect a mayor and council.
