Currently the AC Transit board vice president, representing Ward 4 (Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, Fairview, San Lorenzo and part of Hayward); he was appointed in April 2022 and elected that November. An East Bay native with a background in transit finance, he founded and chaired the California Transit Finance Corporation and chaired the APTA Financial Management Committee. He holds a B.S. in public administration from Cal Poly Pomona and an M.P.A. from CSU Long Beach.
