The incumbent Seat 6 trustee, who grew up in South L.A., is a longtime adjunct professor of history and political science at CSU Northridge and runs a family and criminal law practice. He previously led Plaza Community Services in East Los Angeles and holds an MSW from San Diego State and a Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate School.
