About Shane Atkinson
Legislative affairs coordinator, Larimer County Manager's Office. Has worked in the county's legislative affairs role since 2023 after serving as a policy analyst and constituent advocate for U.S. Rep. Joe Neguse; earlier he taught International Baccalaureate courses for 13 years in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He holds a graduate degree from Syracuse University's Maxwell School and lives in District 1. He won the 2026 Democratic primary for the open seat.
