Quick answers
- Who are my local elected officials in Kentucky?
- Enter your address at spectrumvote.com to see your county commissioners, county officers, school board and city council, with your own district's members marked. Or pick your county below: 437 elected bodies and 920 seats across 52 counties.
- What local offices are elected in Kentucky?
- Each county elects a county judge/executive and a fiscal court of magistrates (or, in some counties, three county commissioners elected countywide), plus a county clerk, county attorney, sheriff, jailer (where the county still has one), coroner, property valuation administrator, surveyor and constables, all for four-year terms on a partisan ballot. Louisville Metro and Lexington-Fayette elect a mayor and council instead of a fiscal court. Cities elect a mayor and council or commission, and school districts elect their boards.
