- What it does
- Shall the City of Center Line be authorized to levy a new millage of up to 1 mil ($1.00 per $1000 of taxable value) on all taxable property within the City, for the purpose of operating and the improvement and maintenance of the Center Line Public Library, for a period of ten (10) years? It is estimated that this additional millage, if approved and levied in 2026, would generate approximately $211,989 in the first year.

- Center Line would levy a new tax of up to 1 mill for ten years for the Center Line Public Library, raising about $211,989 the first year.
- A NO vote means
- Center Line would not levy this new library millage.
- What it would cost
- Up to 1 mill (estimated) for 10 years: $100 a year for every $100,000 of taxable value (a mill is $1 per $1,000). Taxable value is after exemptions such as homestead; your tax bill or property appraiser shows yours.

- Left–right lean
- Not a left–right issue: a procedural or local question that liberals and conservatives don't typically split on (AI read of the official ballot summary).
