Background

Jones County says voters in the Town of Pollocksville will consider a municipal mixed beverage referendum on November 3, 2026, and that it applies only to voters residing within the town limits.

A separate countywide mixed beverage referendum, requested by the Jones County Board of Commissioners on July 13, 2026, is also on the ballot; the county says it applies to unincorporated areas and to municipalities where voters have not already authorized mixed beverages.

According to the county, voters in the Town of Maysville approved mixed beverage sales within town limits in the 2024 general election.
