Background
According to Santa Fe County, this is one of four county general obligation bond questions on the 2026 ballot, along with roads ($14,035,000), open space, trails and parks ($7,010,000) and fire stations ($17,455,000).
The county lists the proposed water and wastewater projects as a treated-effluent bulk water station on NM 14, green stormwater infrastructure at county facilities, and improvements to the county water utility system in the Hyde Park area.
