Background

According to Southside School District, the measure would replace its current EP&O levy, which expires in 2026 and makes up 18 percent of the district's 2025–26 operating budget.

The district says levy dollars are not used for new schools or capital projects. It says they fund K-12 program support, arts, music and after-school opportunities, classroom teachers, and health, safety and facility maintenance.

The district says the levy would continue these programs and operations for the next four years.
