Background

Dixie School District board minutes of February 23, 2026 record that the district's EP&O levy passed in the February special election but its capital projects levy failed. The superintendent said the district would request a recount and put the measure on the November ballot.

Elkhorn Media Group reported that the February capital levy failed 108 to 107.

At the July 24, 2026 board meeting, the superintendent said the district would rerun the capital projects levy in November but not an operations levy, because the district would not be able to collect much more than it already does.

Put on the ballot by Dixie School District No. 101 Board of Directors (Resolution No. 1).
