What local offices are elected in Arizona?
Each county elects a board of supervisors (three or five, by district), an assessor, county attorney, recorder, school superintendent, sheriff and treasurer in presidential years, and a clerk of the superior court and a justice of the peace and constable for each justice precinct in the years between, all for four-year terms on a partisan ballot. Cities and towns elect a mayor and council, and school districts elect their governing boards.
