Background

Voters in both Region 10 towns, Burlington and Harwinton, see the same four district facilities questions, according to the state's sample ballots.

The district says the $5,000,000 would upgrade aging rooftop and mechanical systems across district schools to improve reliability, comfort, energy efficiency and indoor air quality.

The district projects $2,714,500 in state grant reimbursement, which would leave about $2,285,500 for the district to pay.

If the question fails, the district says it would continue to rely on routine maintenance and incremental repairs; a separate question asks for $14,935,000 for roof replacements.

Put on the ballot by Regional School District No. 10 Board of Education (date and vote not found on the district site; public hearing held August 31, 2026).
