Background
The question would fund a new elementary school at the C.E. Miller site to replace the J.T. Manning and C.E. Miller buildings, according to the ballot language.
The Village of Westmont, which says it cannot advocate for or against the question, says the village and district have a downtown TIF agreement that sets aside some revenue for the Manning School property, and that an updated agreement is expected if the schools are consolidated at the Miller site.
