Greg Abbott effective October 1, 2020, and listed by the Texas District and County Attorneys Association as the incumbent in 2026. At the time of his appointment he owned The Law Office of Tom Selleck, P.C., served as a Brazoria County deputy sheriff, and chaired the Angleton Area Emergency Medical Corps board. Holds a criminology degree from Florida State University and a law degree from South Texas College of Law.
