Ballot measure · November 3, 2026 · Rosalia voters
Results: the official election results site. Counts are unofficial until certified.
- What it does
- Shall the Town of Rosalia be authorized to impose a special (excess) tax levy of $1.50 per thousand dollars of 2026 assessed valuation, to be collected in the year 2027, to collect $50,000.00 for the City Street Fund, to help defray the costs of street lights, seal coating, shoulder work, capital improvements, equipment and regular maintenance of city streets? Should this proposition be approved?
- A YES vote means
- The Town of Rosalia would levy a one-year property tax of $50,000.00 ($1.50 per $1,000 of assessed value), collected in 2027, for the street fund (street lights, seal coating, shoulder work, improvements, equipment and maintenance).
- A NO vote means
- The Town of Rosalia would not levy this property tax for 2027.
- Needed to pass
- A 60% supermajority: at least 60 out of every 100 YES and NO votes must be YES, so a measure can get a majority and still fail.
- Left–right lean
- Not a left–right issue: a procedural or local question that liberals and conservatives don't typically split on (AI read of the official ballot summary).
