Background

Greenfield voters face two questions: a $5 million-a-year, four-year operational referendum (Question 1) to replace a 2022 referendum that expires after 2026-27, and this up-to-$35 million facilities bond (Question 2), according to the district's referendum site.

The district says the bond would pay for roofs, HVAC, electrical, windows and plumbing, safety and security, parking and bus-loop work, and repairs to shared school and community spaces, repaid over 20 years.

The district says it pays off debt from the 2007 high school renovation referendum this year, and it estimates Question 2 would add about $9 per $100,000 of fair market value, or about $45 a year on a $500,000 home.

Put on the ballot by School District of Greenfield School Board (adoption date and vote not posted on the district's referendum site).
