Election night: live results from the official election site. Counts are unofficial until certified.
- What it does
- Shall Article V, Section 8 (d) of the Charter of the City of Seven Hills be amended to provide that the determination of the Zoning Board of Appeals on any variance request shall be deemed final and shall not require further approval by any other municipal body, and subject only to judicial appeal as permitted under State Law (Ohio Revised Code Section 713.11)?
- A YES vote means
- Seven Hills Zoning Board of Appeals decisions on variances would be final, needing no approval from any other city body, subject only to court appeal under state law.
- A NO vote means
- Variance decisions would still be handled as the charter now provides.
- Needed to pass
- A simple majority: more than half of the YES and NO votes on this measure must be YES. Leaving it blank doesn't count either way.
- Left–right lean
- Not a left–right issue: a procedural or local question that liberals and conservatives don't typically split on (AI read of the official ballot summary).
