Background
The Hidden Lakes Municipal Utility District No. 1 of Travis County board adopted the order calling this election at a special session on July 28, 2026, with all members present voting yes, according to the district's certificate for the order.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality created the district on November 10, 2023, and the order says the district has not yet levied a debt service tax, maintenance tax, road maintenance tax or park maintenance tax.
The ballot asks voters to confirm the creation of the district; the same order calls an election of five permanent directors and bond and maintenance tax propositions.
