Background

Manor ISD's order puts two bond propositions on the ballot. Proposition A is $391,500,000 for school facilities, sites and buses, and Proposition B is $8,500,000 for school technology, including hardware and software.

The board says technology must be listed as a separate proposition under Section 45.003(g)(6) of the Texas Education Code.

According to the district's notice, Proposition B's estimated interest is $325,374 at 4.444%, for a combined $8,825,374 repaid over one year. The district reported $418,444,999 in outstanding principal and a debt service tax rate of $0.3701 per $100.

The board passed and approved the order on August 10, 2026; the copy posted with the county leaves the dollar amounts blank, but the district's notice of election lists them.

Put on the ballot by Manor ISD Board of Trustees, vote not stated, August 10, 2026 (Order Calling Bond Election).
