Background
According to the City of Green, its Charter Review Commission (appointed by the Mayor every seven years) met 12 times from January through early June 2026 and recommended seven amendments, six of which City Council approved for the ballot as Issues 21–26.
The City says Issue 25 would let Charter Review Commission recommendations be published online or in an electronic equivalent instead of only in a newspaper, similar to Issue 22 for ordinances and notices. Separately, Issue 26 would move charter reviews from every seven years to every five.
