Registering to vote

The deadline to register to vote in Ohio for this election was October 5. If you think you're registered, you can check your status at vote.gov.

Key dates after you vote in Ohio

  • Mail ballots sent by mail must arrive by Nov 3.
  • If there's a problem with your mail ballot (a missing signature, for example), you can fix it until Nov 7.
  • Results are certified by counties by Nov 24 and by the state by Dec 4. Until then, results are unofficial.
