Kennedy Hill MUD Proposition G — $90,000,000 refunding bonds (roads) (Travis County)

Last updated Sat, Nov 7, 4:33 PM ET

Ballot measure · November 3, 2026 · Only voters in this district

What it does
THIS IS A TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $90,000,000 bonds for refunding road bonds (including refunding bonds issued therefor) issued pursuant to Section 52, Article III of the Texas Constitution, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
A YES vote means
Kennedy Hill MUD could issue $90,000,000 in refunding bonds to refund bonds issued for roads, including earlier refunding bonds, repaid with taxes.
A NO vote means
Kennedy Hill MUD would not be authorized to issue these $90,000,000 in refunding bonds or levy taxes to repay them.
Needed to pass
A two-thirds supermajority: at least 2 out of every 3 YES and NO votes must be YES, so a measure can get a majority and still fail.
Left–right lean
Not a left–right issue: a procedural or local question that liberals and conservatives don't typically split on (AI read of the official ballot summary).

The YES and NO lines are SpectrumVote's plain-language reading of the official text above; the official text is what you vote on.

Background

Kennedy Hill Municipal Utility District was created by order of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality dated June 26, 2025, and its board passed the order calling this election on June 8, 2026, according to the order; the posted copy does not show the vote.

This proposition would authorize refunding bonds to refinance road bonds (and refunding bonds issued for them) issued under Article III, Section 52 of the Texas Constitution; the order's road engineering estimate puts the total road bond issue requirement at $60,000,000, voted on separately.

The order notes that Kennedy Hill MUD does not maintain a website.

Put on the ballot by Kennedy Hill MUD Board of Directors, June 8, 2026 (vote not shown in posted order).
