Background

Travis County Emergency Services District No. 10's election order calls two parallel votes on adding the Edgewater and River Terrace Service Area to the district: one for registered voters in the district and one for registered voters in the territory to be annexed; this version of the question is for registered voters in the Edgewater and River Terrace territory proposed for annexation.

Both electorates also vote on a Proposition B asking whether the Edgewater and River Terrace area would assume its proportionate share of the district's outstanding debts and taxes if it is added; the territory's ballot labels both questions 'This is a tax increase.'

Under Texas Health and Safety Code Section 775.051(e), as cited in a similar 2026 Travis County ESD annexation order, an ESD annexation is final only when approved by a majority of voters in both the district and the territory.

Put on the ballot by Travis County ESD No. 10 Board of Commissioners (order of election; date and vote not shown).
