Results: the official election results site. Counts are unofficial until certified.
- What it does
- THIS IS A TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $23,250,000 bonds for refunding road bonds (including refunding bonds issued therefor) issued pursuant to Section 52, Article III of the Texas Constitution, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
- A YES vote means
- Travis County MUD No. 41 could issue $23,250,000 in refunding bonds to refund bonds issued for roads, including earlier refunding bonds, repaid with taxes.
- A NO vote means
- Travis County MUD No. 41 would not be authorized to issue these $23,250,000 in refunding bonds or levy taxes to repay them.
- Needed to pass
- A two-thirds supermajority: at least 2 out of every 3 YES and NO votes must be YES, so a measure can get a majority and still fail.
- Left–right lean
- Not a left–right issue: a procedural or local question that liberals and conservatives don't typically split on (AI read of the official ballot summary).
